Tomato, Basil & Honey Grilled Cheese

Make as many as you want, sweet kitten


Ingredients

Sourdough bread
Unsalted butter, soft
Fontina cheese, sliced
Mozzarella cheese, sliced
Tomato, sliced
Fresh basil leaves
Honey
Fresh cracked black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cover the outsides of two slices of sourdough with unsalted butter. On the inside, spread a generous amount of honey. Add basil leaves, slices of fontina, mozzarella and tomato. Add black pepper to the tomato.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Add the sandwich, butter side down, and cover with lid. Cook 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Flip (like a ninja!), cover and cook an additional 2-3 minutes, until the cheese is melty and the bread is golden.
  3. Slice. Serve. Devour. Make 18 more.
